Many people cannot stand to pick up books and read a few pages, much less read from cover to cover, because they literally cannot concentrate long enough. The night sky was a patchwork quilt of glorious gods and goddesses, fabled beasts and maidens. The captain scarce glanced at the stars except to discern his direction as he reveled in his godlike glory, the ability to master the ocean with a turn of his arm.
